Robot Girl, Robot Dog

I had started this picture about a week ago, and finally put away some time to finish it. I was going to not ink it at first, but I decided I haven't inked for a while and needed to change things up a bit.  I used sepia ink, sizes of pen were 0.1, 0.5 and a brush stroke pen for areas like the cracks on the walls, and the writing on the poster.  Sometimes it's hard to step away from a picture because I just want to keep making it better, so on this one I had to force myself to, because when using ink and unlike pencil, you can't erase your mistakes. I have to be careful to not overwork  a picture. The outcome of this picture for me is really awesome. I had an image in my mind I wanted to convey, and I put it on paper exactly how I wanted it to look. For me this is a great accomplishment because I am starting to realize that I can draw anything with a lot of practice and planning. Usually when I get an idea to draw something, I work it over in my mind throughout the day. Finally by end of day, I can't wait to get home and get started on it.
