Kelly Doubleyou Illustrations

 I haven't been drawing as much as I would like to, but I have a new picture that I am working on at the moment. I feel like I have been rushing lately, and I try to avoid that. I thought I would ease up a bit on drawing and take a look at what I have accomplished so far. I don't want to draw just so I have something to post on my blog, but simply to experience new techniques of drawing. When I feel the need to rush or complete a drawing, I tend to lose that outlook and I don't want that to happen. There are so many different medias and techniques I want to learn. Since starting this blog and looking at older artwork, I feel like I have grown so much as an artist. It may not seem like it to a viewer just by simply browsing my blog accidentally, but for me it is a humongous change. I would draw many pictures differently now that I see them almost from what seems like different eyes. As cheesy as that may sound, it is true. Knowing this, I know that by continuing to draw, I will keep improving and get better and better as long as I have patience and a steady stream of inspiration whatever that may be.
